Vodafone Qatar has recently discussed unique career, internship and sponsorship opportunities at the Texas A&M University’s seventh annual spring recruiting event, Careers for Engineers 2014, and Georgetown’s Annual Career Fair.

TAMUQ’s largest graduating class to date will complete their engineering degree programs this May 2014, followed by an additional group of students in December 2014, making this a very exciting time for students who are keen to join companies of global, world-class caliber for promising employment opportunities. Additionally, Georgetown University held its Annual Career Fair bringing together Qatar’s leading organisations to meet and connect with some of its most promising talents in a wide variety of fields.

Vodafone Qatar, led by Head of Qatarization Eisa Abdulla, introduced students to a world of opportunities which brings experiences a global telecom giant with local Qatari roots can offer, banking on its unmatched industry credentials.

Abdulla said: “These were two fantastic events to get introduced and speak to some of the most brilliant young minds in Qatar today. Vodafone Qatar also discussed internship and sponsorship opportunities available to students, such as the company’s DISCOVER graduate students’ programme. Additionally, Vodafone ran female students through job sharing potential which provides them with the ability to gain corporate workplace experience while balancing their academic priorities.
