United Development Company (UDC), a leading Qatari shareholding company, and its subsidiaries took part in Hamad Hospital’s Blood Bank initiative at The Pearl-Qatar for the fourth year in a row.

United Development Company employees [].jpgEmployees from UDC’s various departments and subsidiaries lined up outside Hamad Hospital’s mobile blood bank at The Pearl-Qatar in support of the initiative to donate blood. The annual blood donation campaign aims to help patients in need by meeting the high demand for blood at all government and private hospitals in the country, and thus seeks to promote health and well-being in Qatar. 

"We are pleased to support Hamad Medical Corporation for the second year for such a compassionate cause,” Roger Dagher, Director of Corporate Communications at United Development Company, said. “UDC is committed to giving back to the community, and the blood donation campaign is therefore an integral component of our corporate social responsibilities.”
