Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels by Tivoli, the five-star designer collection of boutique hotels, is celebrating the National Sports Day by holding a series of activities for the local community to emphasize the importance of an active and healthy lifestyle. Special group activities will be held on February 13, 2018 in front of the Al Jasra Boutique Hotel and will be followed in Al Bidda Boutique Hotel from 7.00 am till 12:00 pm.

The National Sports Day event is part of Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels by Tivoli’ Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. This particular event is focused on promoting an active healthy lifestyle among employees and the larger community

Among the many activities planned for the 7th Qatar National Sports Day, sporting events such as training bikes, table tennis, badminton and running competitions will be held. In addition to this, traditional well known games such as Jumping Rope, Tug of War and GAIS will add to the festivities. Determined to make the sports day even more engaging, the management of Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels by Tivoli has invited all its employees to be part of the planned activities to raise awareness about the importance of maintaining a healthy and athletic lifestyle. Representatives of Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels by Tivoli will distribute prizes to the winners from various activities in a ceremony following the sporting events.

On this occasion, Mr. George Al Bady, Acting General Manager of Souq Waqif Boutique Hotel by Tivoli said,” The National Sports Day seeks to engage the entire community in Qatar with sport activities thus fostering the adoption of a healthy lifestyle.
