United Developers showcased its USD 1.25 billion development, Place Vendôme, at Cityscape Global, the region’s largest and most influential real estate event. The Parisian-inspired mixed-use development project is set to become a new destination for the region upon opening, slated for third quarter 2017. A unique stand showcasing the project was on display for members of the industry and guests at the Dubai World Trade Center from the 21st to the 23rd of September, in Dubai.

Situated 10 km from the center of Doha, Qatar, the 800,000m² mixed-use development will host two five-star hotels, serviced apartments, up to 400 different retail outlets, a central entertainment component showcasing permanent attractions, technologically advanced installations and special events. In addition, the retail portion of the development will boast an exclusive section dedicated to unrivaled luxury featuring the most elite brands.

The project was showcased for the first time to key regional and international developers, architects, designers, investors, governmental authorities and other real estate professionals. In addition, there were more than 500 journalists; TV crew members and photographers reporting live from the event to millions of real estate and business professionals worldwide. Commenting on the United Developers’ successful participation at Cityscape Global, Mr. Sean Kelly, Project Director of Place Vendôme said: “We are delighted with the attention that Place Vendôme received at the region’s largest real estate event. The development will also offer a central entertainment component with permanent attractions such as a Family Entertainment Center and theme park, an indoor bird sanctuary, a dancing fountain, laser displays, a cinema complex and a health and fitness center. The project, which broke ground on the 17th of March 2014, is a project aligned with the pillars of Qatar National Vision 2030. It reflects the owners’ commitment to Qatar’s economic diversification as well as human and social development through the opportunities and jobs that the project will create during construction and upon completion.
