Chad Le Clos, the South African Olympic gold medallist and swimming world champion, visited the luxurious OMEGA Boutique at the Landmark Mall in Doha, Qatar in his role as a global OMEGA brand ambassador. Named the Best Male Swimmer of the Year by swimming’s international governing body (FINA), Chad competed in the Swimming World Championships (25m) from 3 to 7 December, setting a world record in the 100m butterfly event and becoming the first athlete to win gold medals in all three butterfly competitions (50m, 100m and 200m) at a single short course world championships event.

He also met with media to discuss recent successes and autographed an OMEGA Planet Ocean watch box. On his recent achievements, Chad Le Clos said: "It was great to participate in the FINA World Swimming Championships last week and I'm proud of my accomplishments, especially becoming the first swimmer to complete a hat-trick in the butterfly events. As an ambassador for Omega I know too well that timing is essential to doing well in this sport and staying on top.”
