DTZ Qatar has announced that it will continue as key sponsor for Gulf Premiership champions Doha Rugby Football Club (DRFC). DTZ was principal sponsor for the club during its 2014-15 campaign, in which DRFC won the Gulf Premiership for the first time in its history.

Adam Stewart, Associate Director, DTZ Qatar, commented: “We’re delighted to be supporting Doha RFC for the second year running. It was exciting to have been a part of such a successful season last year, and we have every hope that the 2015-16 campaign will deliver even better results for the Club. Having operated in Qatar for over ten years, we feel very much part of the residential and commercial community, so sponsoring DRFC is an ideal way of demonstrating our commitment to Doha.”

The reigning Gulf champions have begun the 2015-16 season strongly, with three wins in the inaugural West Asian Clubs Championship, beating top teams from Abu Dhabi, Kazakhstan and Sri Lanka. They go into the upcoming Premiership season as both Gulf title holders and West Asian Club champions. The 1st XV’s next premiership match will be home versus Kuwait on November 6th.

James Hamilton, Sponsorship Manager, Doha Rugby Football Club, concluded: “DTZ Qatar is a world-renowned international real estate brand with an exceptional reputation and a long-standing commitment to Qatar, so there is a clear value in our continued association. We are very pleased that they have signed on for this year, and we hope that we will continue to enjoy their support for many years to come.”
