Bedaya Center for Entrepreneurship and Career Development (Bedaya Center), a joint initiative by Qatar Development Bank and Silatech, participated at the recently concluded “Biryani” festival, held at the Hotel Park from 7 to 10 February. The 4-day festival was attended by leading restaurants in town and the best chefs from South Asia.

The partnership between “Bedaya” Center and “Four and One”- organizers of the event provided an opportunity for start-ups working in this line of food business to showcase their products. This initiative reflects the continuous efforts by Bedaya to support local entrepreneurs by providing them with proper platform to showcase and promote their products and easily reach consumers, which contributes to the growth and development of their businesses.

On this occasion, Reem Al-Sowaidi, General Manager of Bedaya Center, said, “We are always seeking to involve Qatari startup in all events taking place in the country. Today we have provided them with a unique opportunity to present their skills, products and services. This follows the success we had in another event a few weeks ago, in which another group of entrepreneurs showcased their products at the chocolate Tea coffee (CTC) festival." “Through our partnership with “Four and One” the event’s organizing agency, we have had the opportunity to host local entrepreneurs and startups businesses working in food and beverage industry, especially those specialized in the Indian and Arabic cuisine and the world-renowned Biryani dish. This festival is indeed the best platform for such businesses to prove their capabilities in terms of services and marketing,” she added.
