Qatar, internationally recognised as the world’s biggest exporter and second largest producer of condensate, will showcase the 18th Annual Condensate & Naphtha Forum for the third time on 3- 4 November 2014 at The Ritz Carlton, Doha. The forum was previously held in years 2008 and 2011.

Held under the patronage of HE Dr. Mohammed Bin Saleh Al-Sada, Minister of Energy & Industry of the State of Qatar and Chairman of Qatar Petroleum, the forum is being hosted once again by Tasweeq, Qatar’s independent state-owned petroleum marketing company. Tasweeq previously hosted the conference in 2011. With a new condensate refinery planned by end 2016, Qatar is expected to solidify its position as having one of the largest condensate refining capacities in the world. Their world scale gas- to- liquid (GTL) conversion projects also produce globally marketable and environmentally friendly liquid products and synthetic fuels, including diesel, jet, naphtha and LPG.

Addressing the new supply-demand dynamics and changing outlook for condensate splitters and naphtha imports, the forum will encompass key market trends including current condensate supply in Qatar, USA and other Middle Eastern regions, refining and splitter operations, condensate and feedstock pricing, global naphtha outlook, naphtha shipping routes and outlook for the petrochemicals industry. The forum will be presided by the Ministerial Address. The welcome address will be presented by Mr. Saad Al-Kuwari, CEO & Board Member of Tasweeq and Dr. Fereidun Fesharaki, Chairman of FACTS Global Energy Group.

Dr. Fereidun Fesharaki will also be co-chairing the forum with Mr. Collin Shelley, Managing Consultant, FACTS Global Energy Group.
