The 62nd session of the Eastern Mediterranean Region of the World Health Organization ended here today with Qatar Participating. Qatar's delegation to the four-day meeting was led by HE the Minister of Public Health Abdullah bin Khalid Al-Qahtani. During the meeting participants discussed a host of important issues foremost of which were world health security with a special focus on the Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV) and the influenza virus H5N1, in addion to medical education in the region and means of enhancing psychological health care.
