Stallions Cricket Academy in Qatar just concluded its first ever intra academy tournament. With more than 250 students in the program, Stallions is the leading cricket academy in Qatar today.  The tournament was conducted over a period of one month with 14 matches being played. The tournament was designed for two age groups, under 16 and Under 13. There were 6 teams in total with almost 100 players taking part.

Our aim in this tournament was to provide the much needed playing experience to our youngsters and give them exposure in match conditions.  This year being the first time we organized this event, we wish to continue in the future as well as we have seen a tremendous enthusiasm from the young players, said Sidath Tennakoon, the Head Coach of Stallions. The tournament was conducted at the Pakistan Education Center who was a partner in providing the grounds for the matches. We are planning two more tournaments for the youngsters and a six a side tournament for the parents in the months of March and April.
