The National Health Insurance Company, is launching a nationwide roadshow to increase awareness about the Seha – the national health insurance scheme - and ensure Qatari nationals everywhere are familiar with the benefits it provides.

Specifically targeted at areas outside the capital city, the roadshow aims at giving residents an opportunity to interact with Seha teams and learn more about how to access healthcare services under the scheme. Information booths will be set up at Al Meera Supermarket outlets in the four locations between 06 and 17 July as follows:

  • Gharafat Al Rayan – 06 – 08 July
  • Azghwaya – 09 – 11 July
  • Legtaifiya – 12 – 14 July
  • Abu Nakhla – 15 – 17 July

The booths will be operational from 7:00 PM to 1:00 AM to tie in with the holy month of Ramadan. “As a national initiative, it is important for Seha to reach out to all Qatari nationals wherever they live and to ensure the public not only knows about the health insurance scheme but also how to use it,” explained Dr. Faleh Mohamed Hussain Ali, acting CEO of the National Health Insurance Company (NHIC).

“Whether a person is active on social media or someone who prefers to read the newspaper, or whether they are in Doha or Dukhan, our duty is to reach people of all ages, all backgrounds and all localities across the country. We have deployed a wide range of communications channels to achieve this and the roadshow allows people in the various towns to find out all the information they need about Seha.”

In addition to visiting the Seha booths in the Al Meera Supermarkets, Qatari nationals can also access information and updates about the scheme and the Seha provider network at www.seha.qa and through social media at facebook.com/SehaQatar and twitter.com/SehaQatar. Members can also contact the Seha call centre on telephone 4020 8444 or visit the customer contact centre on the sixth floor of Amwal Tower in West Bay, Doha.
