The eight-week program runs from early October to early December. Unless otherwise noted, all non-credit community classes are open to both women and men aged 15 and above, and are taught in English at the VCUQatar building located within the Education City campus on Al Luqta Street. In addition to classes held at VCUQatar, the university is offering some community courses in partnership with the Academy for Dance Music and Arts (IAID) at their venue in Nuaija.

Portfolio development classes, which are designed to help high schools seniors and graduates to build the skills and learn the concepts required to prepare a competitive portfolio for art university admission, are offered alongside the community classes. Classes will start on October 10.
