The Cultural Village Foundation-Katara, in collaboration with the Palladium group, organised the 8th forum of Qatar Strategy Execution Community (QSEC) themed 'Holistic Approach for Strategy Alignment' in building number 15 on Wednesday.

The session witnessed the participation of regional and international strategic leaders, executives and experts interested in developing strategies for government and private sectors in the country and abroad.

General Manager of Katara Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim al Sulaiti (pictured) inaugurated the session. Sulaiti said:"The strategic leadership forum was launched to act as a bridge that links us with national, Gulf, Arab and international leaders and corporations that share with us the same goals and aspirations towards building a promising future for our communities in which culture and cultivated individuals play a key role. Today's 8th Forum came to supplement the goals we set since the first forum through identifying and analysing the best practices, transferring knowledge and circulating successful business experiences."

The forum included presentations on best practices for strategy alignment for various domains, including health, education, culture, private sector & CSR, and government. The presentations were given by four experts: Dr Farley Cleghorn, global head of the Health Practice at Palladium; Dr Shadi Khawandanah, chairman of Special Direction group of companies; Dr Khalid al Mezaini, assistant professor at Qatar University and Paulo Serra e Silva, regional director at Palladium. Paulo Serra e Silva said:"One of the aspects we are focusing today is the strategy execution for governments and municipalities."
