During the past year, Qatari export products have increasingly found home in Europe’s marketplaces, having participated in a series of exhibitions. Similarly, our participation in Anuga 2017 exhibition aims to further strengthen the commercial trade relations between Qatar and Germany.”

He continued: "Given the evolving trade climate in the region, many local companies are increasingly appreciating the importance of change management. To this end, QDB lends assistance to these organizations by directing them to new marketing windows as well as helping them find alternative markets to export their products. Today, thanks to the opening of a new major seaport in Qatar – the Hamad Port – we are in an improved geostrategic position to charter new trading routes and strengthen trade relations with distant markets like Germany. And after tremendous successes in our local market, we firmly believe it is time for our local companies to proceed towards new horizons and expand into the regional and international market, as envisioned in Qatar National Vision 2030.”
