Qatar Chamber (QC) on Tuesday organised a workshop to empower Qatari women and increase their awareness, said Qatar Tribune. Titled "Women's Economic Empowerment," it was conducted by Dr Hanan Hassan Eisa, Founder of the Happiness Spring Centre and Human Development Certified Master Hypnotist.

The workshop, attended by a large number of Qatari women employees and businesswomen, discussed the effective methods to prepare housewives to enter the job market while retaining their responsibilities as mothers and wives. Dr Hanan told Qatar Tribune the event aimed at highlighting the role of society, family and women themselves in raising their confidence levels. Zainab al Tajer, events coordinator at Maersk Oil Qatar, said the event provided women with information on how to boost their businesses."Some women have creative business ideas, but lack the ability to put these ideas into practice. This workshop will help such women."
