Qatar Airways is this week introducing a new scheme that will allow travellers on the popular Doha to Dubai route to save 20% on the Economy Class fare price, with the use of ‘QVoucher’. QVoucher, which can be purchased on the Qatar Airways website, via a travel agent, or at any of the airline’s Sales Offices, allows passengers to purchase a booklet of two vouchers for only 200 Qatari Riyals, which can then be redeemed for a 20% discount off the total fare.

This latest offer from Qatar Airways, which comes into effect on the 28th January, will run until Saturday the 3rd February. Passengers will be able to avail of the 20% discount for travel on flights up until 28th February, with the offer in direct response to the popularity of this route for leisure, business or weekend commuter travellers. Qatar Airways flies to Dubai 18 times daily, 14 to Dubai International Airport (DXB) and 4 to Dubai Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC). QVoucher may be redeemed on both of these popular routes.

Both Doha and Dubai offer a wealth of attractions taking place throughout the month of February and local GCC residents are sure to avail of these savings in order to visit events such as the Qatar Total Open 2015 tennis championship in Doha, or the Dubai Food Festival 2015. Privilege Club members also have the additional benefit of being able to utilise the discount vouchers purchased for redemption on any tickets for family members who are listed under their Privilege Club membership scheme.

Qatar Airways Senior Vice President Commercial – Qatar, Mr. Ehab Amin, said: “We continually look for ways to respond to regular travel patterns and provide unique solutions and offers to them. “The option to purchase QVoucher enables those wishing to travel on the popular Doha to Dubai route additional savings on Economy Class fares. This further demonstrates how we put into action a five-star travel experience for all of our valued passengers, from the service we offer on board and on the ground at Hamad International Airport, through to the value we offer in our fares.”

Qatar Airways has seen rapid growth in just 18 years of operation, to the point where today it is flying a modern fleet of 146 aircraft to 146 key business and leisure destinations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, North America and South America.
