As part of its Ramadan campaign, “The best time to share our best,” volunteers from Ooredoo visited the Qatar Foundation for Elderly Care (Ihsan) this weekend to bring joy to some of the people who are supported by the Foundation. The volunteers, who spent time with some of the residents, aimed to learn more about their lives as well as spread joy this special time of year to those in need. After breaking their fast together, Ooredoo’s delegation presented gifts to the elderly people at the Foundation and congratulated the organisation for their work in Qatar.

Fatima Sultan Al Kuwari, Director Community & Public Relations, Ooredoo, said: “The Foundation is dedicated to improve the lives of seniors, advocate senior rights in Qatar, and provide awareness on issues facing the elderly, as well as guidance to their families. This is a subject that should be close to everyone’s hearts in this time of reflection, and Ihsan plays a vital role in Qatar, so please support its important work.”

He added that this visit contributed to the association’s efforts to integrate the elderly with all categories of society, which provides them with a better quality of life. He concluded: “Ooredoo’s visit is part of a special, long-lasting and growing relationship we have with the company, and we hope that our cooperation will develop even further to ensure a better life for the seniors of our country.”

Ooredoo’s delegation was received by a group of employees and patients from the Foundation. The visit was part of a series of community and charity activities this Ramadan at various events and locations around the country.
