Ooredoo has today launched the latest option for mobile data subscribers – the new 15GB plan for Shahry and Hala customers, which is the company’s largest, non-unlimited, data plan ever.

The new bundle allows Shahry Smart customers to access a massive 15GB extra data per month for just QR 200, and Hala Smart customers to access 3.75GB per week for QR 50. The new plan – which is available on Mobile Internet Packs, BlackBerry Bundles and Mobile Broadband plans – has been designed to offer a high-end mobile data top-up option for customers who need a large amount of data per month.

Customers can also get the plan on a special Ooredoo Data Scratch Cards, which are available via Ooredoo Shops and authorised dealers across the country.  The company currently has five Data Scratch Cards denominations available starting from QR 20. Mobile data subscriptions enable customers to take advantage of the life enhancing services of the internet, and access Qatar’s first and best 4G network, without worrying about the costs.

The competitively priced monthly or weekly bundles give customers a way to expand their data limits as per their usage without affecting their existing credit. Other bundles are available from 250MB for QR 15 to Unlimited for QR 100 per week for Hala users, and 1GB for QR 60 to Unlimited for QR 400 per month for Shahry customers, to cater to customers’ specific needs.

With no renewal or subscription fees, mobile data bundles can be subscribed to by sending the SMS MIP ‘amount’, e.g. MIP 200, to 114 for Shahry and MIP 50 to 121 for Hala. Ooredoo will send a SMS reminding customers when their subscription will be renewed. Hala customers need to have the required amount in credit to continue their subscription. Shahry customers will have the monthly price added to their bill.
