In anticipation of the worldwide release of The Angry Birds Movie, McDonald’s Qatar, the local market’s leading foodservice company, and in collaboration with Doha Festival City, Talal Bin Mohammed Trading (TBMT) and Adabisc, hosted a special viewing of the Angry Birds Movie ahead of the film’s official worldwide release.

During the event, McDonald’s Qatar provided Angry Birds happy meal toys collectible, being part of this month global campaign. Kids attending, enjoyed Angry Bird face painting, and were amused with the presence of the Angry Birds mascots and pampered with popcorn, nachos and cupcakes. Families and kids also enjoyed Angry Birds photo booth, which added pleasure and fun to the event. The movie premiere was attended by families’, media and fans of the blockbuster video game, marking the start of the countdown to the opening of Angry Bird’s World Theme Park in Doha.

This is an ambitious initiative for McDonald’s Qatar, that aims to develop an appreciation of films and cultural activities which are of interest to the community in Qatar.
