His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani will honor the men’s graduation ceremony of Class of 2015 on May 20. Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Hamad bin Suhaim Al Thani, wife of the Emir, will grace the women’s ceremony on May 21. Both ceremonies will be held at Qatar National Convention Center.

This year, the number of graduates had increased considerably from a total of 1269 students last year (989 men and 280 women) to 1560 students (460 men and 1100 women) who will be graduating with Bachelors, Masters, and diplomas from all colleges. This year’s batch also includes 180 outstanding students.

Commenting on the upcoming event, QU VP for Student Affairs Dr Omar Al-Ansari expressed his appreciation for the Emir’s visionary leadership and support for QU students, saying, “Congratulations to our graduates and all the very best for a fulfilling and successful future. This event reflects QU’s commitment to graduate highly-qualified students who meet the labor market’s expectations, and its ongoing mission in shaping future leaders and professionals who will actively contribute to the country’s outstanding development, in line with the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030.”
