HEC Paris, ranked number 3 worldwide in Executive Education by the Financial Times in 2019, launches three new Executive Short Programs in Qatar for 2019 Fall-Winter term and has started accepting enrolments from participants looking to hone their leadership skills. The two-day Executive Short Programs are ‘Re-Inventing Your Business Model’; ‘Shape Your Leadership’; and ‘General Management - The Navigator Program’.

‘Re-Inventing Your Business Model’ is designed to give executives a novel view of how to envisage strategy in a world that requires constant adaptation. Building on the concept of business models, participants will learn how to systematically explore new opportunities to implement innovation in their respective organizations. The program is scheduled to take place on October 14-15, 2019 and will be led by Hélène Musikas, Affiliate Professor, HEC Paris. ‘Shape your Leadership’ program will allow participants to grow their self-awareness and self-confidence and build trust as a team leader. It will also enable them to have a positive influence over their respective surroundings and to develop strong leadership. Moderated by Valérie Gauthier, Associate Professor, HEC Paris, the short program is slated to take place on November 10-11, 2019.

The third Short Executive Program, ‘General Management – The Navigator Program’, will give aspiring, current and future managers a solid, hands-on introduction to the challenges and key tasks of general management. By the end of the session, participants will have gained a profound understanding of the roles and tasks, the opportunities and challenges, and the necessity to bridge as well as combine insights from leadership, governance, and strategy. Wolfgang Amann, Affiliate Professor, HEC Paris, will lead the program on December 10-11, 2019.

The programs combine lectures with case studies, exercises and workshops. The teaching material covers theories, frameworks and latest research insights. There will be ample opportunity to learn with and from other participants during class discussions and teamwork. All programs will be held at the Tornado Tower in West Bay – the HEC Paris Doha campus and are open for registration. For more information and to register, contact shortprograms@hec-q.qf.org.qa
