Ginger Camel, Doha’s premiere media production firm, flew to France in order to receive a Cannes Corporate Media & TV Award for its ictQatar commissioned film, which visualises the future of QPost and the modernization of its facilities and services. “Unveiling New Horizons- QPost” was first screened at the third edition of QITCOM held at the Qatar National Convention Centre on 26 - 28 May 2014.

The film showcases the rapid development of Q-Post, which began in 1950 and today has become a corporation run by the State of Qatar. It has undergone substantial growth, now boasting a modern, purpose-built sorting center and headquarters, equipped with the latest technology. These features will enable it to compete internationally and provide a platform for Qatar’s bright business future.

Ginger Camel Managing Director Stefan Lindberg-Jones, and Head of Film, Najwa Hanafi, attended the Cannes award ceremony in France this past week for three days. They received the silver award in the Marketing Communication category, and were the only company from Qatar among an otherwise European-dominated group. This is not only a significant event for Ginger Camel, but also all of Qatar.
