City Centre Rotana Doha welcomed 80 kids from Shafallah Center and Best Buddies Qatar on the sidelines of the International Day of Down Syndrome. The aim of the visit was to allow the kids from both institutions to have memorable times and to increase public awareness about the noble objectives of both Shafallah Center and Best Buddies Qatar and the honorable role they play in the society.

The day started with a distinct breakfast specially curated for this occasion and was followed by a reading session during which one of the City Center Rotana Doha team read a series of stories in Arabic and interacted with the children in line with the stories’ events. The day proceeded with fun times designed to match the children's potentials & abilities and took place under the supervision and participation of the hotel staff.

On the successful hosting of the event, Martin Kendall, General Manager of City Centre Rotana Doha, said, “We are pleased to join forces with the Shafallah Center for Children with Special Needs and Best Buddies Qatar to highlight this distinctive role they undertake within the local society and support them in the best way we know which is providing the kids with exclusive time full of joy, by engaging them in a range of activities and events that suit their abilities. We strongly believe that such events are beautiful occasions that rise to the innocence and purity of the hearts of these distinguished children.
