The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) announces that it will implement a temporary closure on Jelaiha Roundabout, at the intersection between Al-Khafji Street and the Arab League Street. The closure will begin on Saturday, 26th September, and will be in place until the morning of Wednesday, 30th September 2015. This temporary Closure aims to continue the works of converting Jelaiha Roundabout to a signal-controlled intersection, as part of phase one of the Development of Al Khafji Street and Surrounding Streets project.

During this period, two lanes will remain open in both directions on the streets surrounding Jelaiha Roundabout, namely Al-Khafji Street and the Arab League Street, as shown in the attached map. Vehicles coming from Al-Bia'a (Environment) Roundabout towards Jelaiha Roundabout will need to turn right to Dahl Al-Hamam intersection, and take a U-turn back to Jelaiha Roundabout. Vehicles coming from Hazm Al-Markhiya Roundabout towards Jelaiha Roundabout will need to turn right to the College of the North Atlantic Roundabout, and take a U-turn back to Jelaiha Roundabout.
